With the current system to qualify directly without a Play-Off it seems difficult for PSG. Currently they are at number 19. So I think it will be difficult to qualify directly. But if it's for the League, then I think PSG is still quite good. They seem to have to work hard, besides that bringing in experienced players in the UCL is certainly a good factor. In addition, the mentality of fighting hard must be applied, so that their understanding has been paid dearly. Let's see if there is still a chance for them to go straight to the next round.
I also feel that this time PSG will have quite a hard time getting straight through to the next stage. But that doesn't mean this team can't do it. It's just that they have to work harder to get it. And perhaps it is more likely that PSG will only qualify through the playoffs first. Let's see what matches PSG will face at this stage. The opponents they face will really make PSG lose points. For example, in the 4th match they will face Atletico Madrid, then in the 5th match they will face Bayern Munich and then in the 7th match they will have to face the most difficult opponent, namely Man City. So it will be quite difficult for PSG to get full points in these matches. But because this is the Champions League, it could turn out that our guess is wrong. And even PSG was able to qualify smoothly.
I don't also see much hope for PSG at the Champions league this season unless magic happens. If Arsenal can crash them 2-0 at Emirate Stadium, whereas PSG have been known to be strong both home and away, I don't expect much from them this season. The big teams namely Bayern Munic, Manchester City and Real Madrid will easily overpower them judging from the bad performance they showcased against Arsenal. Assuming they still have Angel Di Maria in the team, then we could have expected some magic.
