What do you mean by PSG not having good quality players this season? Are you saying that Kylan Mbappe was the only quality player PSG had? Most of the key players of PSG like Dembele, Marco Asensio and Lucas Hernandez.
With the current system to qualify directly without a Play-Off it seems difficult for PSG. Currently they are at number 19. So I think it will be difficult to qualify directly. But if it's for the League, then I think PSG is still quite good. They seem to have to work hard, besides that bringing in experienced players in the UCL is certainly a good factor.
