Well, Some people might say that Real Madrid does have some young talents in tone of benches but these players will not be as effective as the first team. It also brings lots of pressure that force the club to look for possible short terms solutions, particularly in high profile matches such as El Clásico against Barcelona. A defeat such as this would most definitely put pressure in the team and maybe make the management push for players in the upcoming January transfer window in case the require them.
In terms of reserve players, the quality is not too bad, but that is for a normal club. As for Real Madrid, the storm of injuries will certainly directly affect the main goals such as winning La Liga or winning the Champions League. If he wants to add players, Ancelotti will have to wait until the next winter transfer window. Before that, coach Carlo Ancelotti will certainly have to make do with what he has.
But to add the desired recruits in this period is not easy. Perhaps Real's board of directors will have to change their stance this summer, accepting to spend money to bring more reinforcements to the Bernabeu to relieve the burden on Ancelotti. Some short-term or loan deals are the most likely move for Los Blancos to salvage the situation.
I don't know why we are talking about short term solutions in a club like Real Madrid. Are they really in short of players? I considered them and Manchester city to be team with a very good squad depth. Incase I am missing something, can someone update me with list of injured players in Real Madrid?
As far as I know, real Madrid is a team of very young players and young players hardly get injured, so there's no course for alarm.
