We are not venture capitalists and aren't willing to throw $150k at any kind of project, with a promise of success. I can confidently say this even for those of us with 100+ BTC. (Not me obviously, but you get the idea.)

He should be pitching his idea to real investors. Like I said earlier, we are not investors. We can't take a $150k loss if it doesn't work out, and even if we can, the upside of it working out is not attractive at all. Most investors take shares of the company as their return, not a few thousand dollars of interest.
