I don't think they really need more players, though having backup is good bit Realmadrid is quite having world-class players as both frontmans and backups, this is the reason they didn't bring in new players in the transfer window.. they are quire confident in their players that they could take on any team and sure who would have thought they wouldn't take on everyteam they come across right before the beginning of the season(maybe me 
) and even the hype was real until the season started , their problem currently is not the squad but the game play(you might not see it that way but this is what I think). If they want back up they can get no one is against it but if they don't change how they're currently playing they might still be having issue.They still have enough time to figure out alot of things before the season comes to an end(more than enough time) but at the same time I don't think Barcelona will also relax it their future games.
Of course, I agree with you. Real Madrid has time to fix it and plan something better. They are good based on the performance of their players, but sometimes they have difficulty winning in some matches that are considered easy.Barcelona certainly doesn't want to relax and they will try their best to stay at the top of the standings, so the title competition this season will be very tight compared to last season.
