But this is football, just as Barcelona managed to lose to Monaco which they shouldn't have lost, and just like how Bayern managed to lose to Villa which they shouldn't have, then we can assume either of these teams could win their games as well, there isn't really a way to calculate which team is better based on a single game. Kompany is definitely more inexperienced, we know this as a fact and Flick will definitely use this advantage to do what Kompany doesn't expect them to do.
We can’t picture it in that manner as you’ve just said. This two teams are big teams in the champions league and there’s no season they don’t qualify and play in the champions league. Even without the coaches, both team players already have some substantial experience of the competition already. We cannot say that Hansi Flick will win the match because Kompany is not ready to face such a big team like them yet. But yet, he is just coacchin the big team Bayern Munich for the first time and he’s making a good record already and placing the team right above every other team in the league. I just don’t feel this match will be easy for any of the teams to win, they’ve to put in that extra effort before they can win the match.
Basically, Hansi Flick has experience and has been successful with Bayern Munich in the past and thus, at least Hansi Flick understands Bayern Munich very well compared to Kompany who is still relatively new to handling a big team like Bayern Munich. Also, Kompany who is still in the process of increasing his experience in the Champions League and with that, maybe Hansi Flick will get better result than Kompany. Therefore,it is not surprising that Barcelona may be a fairly favored team in this match against Bayern Munich. But even so, I also realize and admit that Bayern Munich remains a great team under Kompany and of course, there is nothing easy to win in a big match like this.
