In an interview with a Spanish media outlet, he said that Mbappe along with his teammates, will have to work harder.
Real Madrid is different from PSG, Mbappe is not like Ronaldo, he is still very far away. I think he has to be able to integrate with the team and play as a team. He has good ability, but in La Liga it has not been able to make him a big star. Another problem is that the team's current support is incomplete, many Madrid players are injured. So the team's support seems to be decreasing. I think Mbappe still has a lot of time to develop, he just went to La Liga and he will improve a lot.
In as much as I'm a die hard supporter of Kylian Mbappe, j think there's something he's not getting right since he joined Real Madrid. He's been trying to be more of an individual star than a team player and that has cost the team some clear goal scoring opportunities. I understand that he was the top scorer in the French league for last season and would want to continue being the main man at Madrid but I feel he'll achieve more as a player if he starts to play more of team football as well as being selfless whenever he's with the ball. Real Madrid have arguably the best attack line in Europe at the moment but has scored lesser goals because of lack of understanding between the attackers so let them fix that problem among themselves and start tearing opponents apart with ease.
