I like to invest in the DCA method because there is less chance of risk if the price of Bitcoin goes up or down in the market.
why you invested in bitcoin through DCA at the First place was never because of the risk of bitcoin going up or down, bitcoin must certainly undergo upward and downward movement which is ideal due to its volatile nature. The reason for accumulating through DCA is for easy way of buying bitcoin as little as you can without overdoing it, or according to your level of discretion income, and or buying to HODl and be free from the trauma of watching your portfolio rise and fall. The reason why most people buy and HODl or accumulate bitcoin is because they have a long term investment goal and not a temporary one.
If you invest in the DCA method for four to five years from now, you will have a lot of bitcoins, and you will be rich. will be
And again accumulating bitcoin for 4 to 5 years from now does not guarantee you to become rich. An investor may accumulate for five years and still not able to produce a tangible, sizable or reasonable amount of BTC withing those period. The amount of bitcoin In your portfolio and how long it has appreciated can only be used to quantify you success.
Let's work it out mathematicaly
For instance $10 weekly investment for 5 years
1 Week $10
4 weeks $40. 1 month=$40*12 months = $480.
1 year $480 *5 years= +/-$2500.
If this proces is reapeted using $100 in replacement of $10 weekly as regard to fuck you status, the approximately $2500 will be $25000. Now obviously your success depends on your level of accumulation. Meaning the profit increase has not been added yet, if the profit should be added, it could amount to a Total of $30k or $35k
All your points are good Pi-network314159 except you mistake about how many weeks are in a year.. There are 52 weeks in a year and 4.3 weeks in a month... So if you are truly investing weekly, then the formula should be calculated correctly.... and so if $100 per week, $5,200 per year and $26k in 5 years.. and $52k in 10 years...
It surely can add up, and we might even be able to expect that there are going to be some folks (especially younger folks) who will likely be able to increase their weekly DCA amount over the years... even though likely the BTC price will go up faster than the amount that they wll be able to increase their contribution. The dollar (or whatever fiat) will also likely debase in the coming 10 years, so frequently we are attempting to figure out if we are getting ahead in real terms rather than just getting ahead in debased dollar/fiat terms.
