It is natural that many Real Madrid fans have expectations about Kylian Mbappe's good performance in the team considering how he has done with PSG in recent seasons. Mbappe was very productive at PSG, while his performance was less scary at Real Madrid. Basically he has enough support from all the players and also his coach, it's just that La Liga teams seem to know his style of play so it's too easy for them to stop him and prevent him from scoring goals.

Stopping Mbappe and preventing him from scoring is easier than stopping Vinicius, that is an undeniable fact so far. Mbappe certainly needs to improve his performance especially in his finishing, but he has played well so far and seems to be adapting well. He needs to improve his goal productivity, but fans are expected to be patient.

Is this your general opinion about the two players or what are you referring to? This season? When?

Mbappe has scored seven goals in eleven games and Vinicius Junior has scored four goals in twelve games. Now when you are saying that you generally think it is harder to stop Vinicis Junior from scoring than Mbappe, I wonder what data you base that opinion on?

Mbappe is one of the strongest offensive opponents you can face as a defender and Vinicius Junior is very far away from the goal per game ratio that Mbappe has. I acknowledge the fact that Mbappe played in Ligue 1 while Vinicius Junior played in La Liga most of the time.

Let's take the Champions League then and there Vinicius Junior scored 21 goals in 58 games while Mbappe scored 49 goals in 75 games. I don't think you are onto something here with your opinion. The first few games for Real Madrid haven't been the best in his career, but in general I believe that Mbappe's best game is above Vinicius Junior's best game.
This looks like a comparison between both players, Vini and Mbappe are both quality players with different abilities that totally distinguish them from each other. Mbappe is good but not better than Vini right now, his abilities doesn't stand him a chance against Vinicius who has been an important figure in the club, if Mbappe was so better, he should have been benching Vini from playing the left wing which is where he played from in former league.

Not forgetting that three of Mbappe goals this season are coming from penalties shoot out, that may not still change your opinion but knowing that Vini is more of a threat on the ball facing defenders compared to Mbappe and clearly up to the level of competing with his level of nvolvement in the whole squad right now.
