Inter have a weak defence this season, conceding 9 goals in 7 games. In comparison, they conceded 22 goals in the whole of last season. So theoretically Roma have a choice of how to play, maybe an aggressive game with an emphasis on attack will be a surprise for Inter and they won’t be able to find an answer, who knows. But as I wrote earlier, it looks like this game will end with Inter winning 2-1.
Last season Inter Milan only conceded 22 goals from 38 matches they played, it shows that their defense was the best in Serie A last season, they were also the team that scored the most goals, so they really deserve to win the Scudetto title. This season there seems to be a decline in defense, I can't quickly conclude because this is just the beginning of the season and it could be that in the future they will be even better.
A decline like this is actually something that is common for a team, it's just that it might disappoint some people, especially their supporters. But right now I think they are still fine or still in a reasonable decline.
