The worst ridiculous and ugliest moment I have ever encountered pertaining gambling is when a friend told me and few other friends that he was going to take responsibility of the bills for our weekend hangout.
He had us that confidence to be unfailingly.
Guess what???
It was actually from a game he booked against the weekend that had him that morale to had projected this weekend hangout amongst us and it was not that he had secured the money to be assured.
As a matter of fact, he was nowhere to be found all through the weekend and could not even take his calls because he felt messed up of himself for the false promises.
While time passes by, you can imagine how he narrated the stories and felt remorseful of being a d!ck head as the game failed him as predicted.
Well, your friend is a dumbass. Most gamblers are dumb, even I consider myself stupid, but I'm not as stupid as your friend.
Being 100% sure that you are going to win in a gambling game(even if we are talking about sports betting) is beyond stupid.
Making false promises and breaking them is pretty common among the people. I hate making promises to anyone because I don't want to feel regrets for not keeping them. I usually don't trust people, who are promising something to me. Most people are so unreliable nowadays. I don't know what happened. Did social media ruin all the people?
We don't have to promise something if we don't know how we can fills that especially in gambling because gambling have uncertainty that we don't know when we can win. We can place a bet without saying anything to our friends and let them see the outcome. When we can win, we can buy them food and drink and celebrate it but if we lose, we don't have to fills any promises to them because we don't give that to them. They will understand that we can not always win in gambling so they will not say many things about us and no one will feel that we lie to them. We can still meet them without worry if they will say bad things about us so that will not affect to our relationship.
