It seems like animal meme coins are the popular trend these days with most circling around DOGE but even then, there's the occasional animal Meme coin that has no relation to DOGE but what I do wonder is what qualifies an animal to be a meme coin mascot. If it was popularity, Harambe would have a meme coin...probably does. Still, I'm wondering about this because I saw one Eth meme coin with a Hippo mascot named MOODENETH

People follow the same trend since Dogecoin started with an animal (dog), so other copycats believe in animals since Dogecoin was a success. It's always like that in our society even as the person who started Dogecoin might have just created it with a dog meme for his love for dogs, others would copy it with or without their love for dogs or other animals.
So these different animals you see linked to meme coins today are just the beginning, more are coming as people now have that mentality that memes must be linked with animals.
