1.5 might make it easier to understand as something that would be 1 or less or 2 or more.
These funny and strange bets do add interest to gambling. Last week I heard of a bet whether Lt. Dan would die or not and apparently he didn't. Number of offsides, cards are normal but there have been some spectacular bets on football too when a person won a bet who had bet for Luis Suarez biting the ear of opponent in the game.
