The image has been edited. In the link where Martini's emails are found, email #129 does not say anything like that. And nowhere does the term “push-ups” appear.
In the end, it's all just a joke, which I see no harm in doing. And I also don't consider it spam, as they are not doing anything wrong, and are literally speculating the price. Probably one day they will achieve the proposed objective.
As for those who are there in search of merit, that is the responsibility of those who give them merit.
