Honestly, airdrops are becoming more difficult to farm, especially the popular ones. I’m starting to get concerned. The Eigen airdrop was great, I ended up with over $2K just for using the network, without even knowing about the airdrop in advance. It wasn’t as hyped, so not many people were prepared for it.
That's the thing about making money on airdrops; it should be good, only a few people participate, and the allocation is good. So many airdrops are referral based; they do not limit their participants, so participants ended up with dust because of the huge number of participants.
Some developers brag they have a huge community or participants, but the fact is that huge numbers will suffer from wasted effort because of the allocation. Again, the developers only think of their number, not what the community will get in exchange for their effort.
