- Since there is no email confirmation required to create an account or change email in the forum, you can go into your profile and set a wrong email that is not under your control.
At least give proper advise e.g. like what theymos suggested in the
2FA added topic: don't set some random email address, rather set an invalid email address like
yourUserName@invalid.bitcointalk.org which presumably won't or can't be abused by another entity, provided you trust theymos to never setup such an email domain. I'd say, it's a fair bet, this won't ever happen.
