A few people on reddit claim they had success making transfers to crypto wallets. For many others like myself, we get an error if we try. If it worked for you, how long ago was it?
I think Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are only available in United States based Paypal accounts, so most of the world don't have this option available.
There is no good reason why anyone should hold bitcoin in Paypal account, but if you have problem withdrawing coins it's better to contact their (terrible) support and hope they reply to you.
