Unfortunately for Leipzig, this new and far different CL version has been more than negative. At least until now. The game against Liverpool though, I doubt that it will be different for them. The Reds this season look very solid and serious with all their opponents and if they get out from serious injuries, can be a favorite to reach at least the quarter-finals.
Looking at the two games that Leipzig have played in the Champions League this season, there is certainly a reason why some people still doubt them when facing Liverpool who have successfully won two games in the Champions League this season whereas it was the opposite for Leipzig at the start of the Champions League this season. The home game against Liverpool as the third game for both of them in the Champions League this season could put Leipzig in an even more difficult position if Leipzig can't win the game considering Liverpool are still quite solid this season in any competition.
