What do you think about their new validator client, Firedancer and Frankendancer? Do you think it will help the chain and the scale on which it aims, but sometimes lacks due to the outages? As I remember, the last one was pretty a while ago (in February, I believe).
What about Firedancer/Frankendancer? The new node implemention by Jump Crypto written in C aims to fix network stability issues once and for all. It also aims to improve network performance. As far as I know, Firedancer already launched in Testnet. It should only be a matter of time before it's deployed to the mainnet.
Can you imagine if this works? Then Solana will become a major ETH contender in the long run. I think it's worth buying just because there's hope it'll improve in the future. Having some SOL in your portfolio wouldn't hurt. I'd diversify my investment to play it safe. Who knows? Maybe SOL will reach a new ATH soon. With "meme" coins, gaming, and NFTs getting overhyped on the Solana chain, anything's possible.

Honestly? I have not heard about it before now. I am reading that it was released on testnet this month?
I would not invest on hopes and dreams, though. Especially not when it's being hyped while being so new and unproven. I will research it, but since it is so new and only on the testnet so far, there are no guarantees yet. I think the mainnet will be the real test. If it performs well for a year or so I would be more interested in investing. But mainnet is 2025-2026. Quite a long time off.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention, though!
You are welcome. I've read only a bit about it, but there are many layers to what it would do to the chain and for what reasons. Some articles are better, some are worse, but I think, in general, what Abilky said - SOL would be good to monitor through this whole ordeal and invest in it if it goes well.
