It's no longer 2017 to early 2018 era, airdrops are no longer worth the try. During the time that I mentioned, we have seen a lot of airdrops that really gave something to the investors or the bounty hunters. Although it try to make a resurgence with the latest craze of tap to earn and some early or prime mover of this project really game a good airdrop. However, the recent Hamster was a disappointment, and that's what I read and heard from people. Months and months of farming and tapping and everyone was with this project expecting a huge returns for their hard work and yet during the airdrop, majority of them didn't get what they expecting and so it was really disheartening for them. And with that, I would say that airdrop is not as what it used to be and the reward is not going to be worth in the end.
In recent time, we are having too much hype specially social media channels are creating troubles because scam developers only need few peoples for having good intention about their project then we have the huge number of community members jumps in which bring good mess up and at the end mostly are crying about have nothing from this airdrop but sadly no one learning from mistakes with many are doing same job for nothing and giving their time and effort.

Hamster is the biggest example as how developers use this community and then have changes into their airdrops which was completely unfair, but we can't do anything about this, but we need to understand about these ground realities and not jump in these time-wasting things because as members are giving their time and effort for these useless and scam airdrops they can do better things or can learn about skills which will help them.
