Each gambler should bet according to your bankroll, let's say risking 1-3- percent of your income depending on what you can afford to lose.
How it works, Before you start betting on crash games, study the pattern of the game for about a week to understand what that plays most of the time.
Choose a profit target, let's say 1.5x - 5x, basically for me, I target nothing less than 2x - 5x profit target, and this is base on the strategy and the platform that I use, different platform varies with their crash Elevator games but study what works in the platform that you use.
Bankroll management is a very important thing that discipline gamblers take into consideration before they carry out gambling activities. You have a nice break down of strategies gamblers can adopt to manage their gambling. However most of the time if you check closely, most gamblers make use of this money management strategy without actually sitting down to carry out ratio and staking calculations.

Some gamblers gamble once a while and they do so when then are free or their team has a game and then they just decide to bet on their team as they watch the match. I think people who adopt these calculations more are those that gamble very frequently.
Bankroll management is a criteria if one wants to keep proper record of their gambling activities. To some persons its not really necessary but those who execute  the discipline carefully are the ones who becomes responsible gamblers. Not taking accountability if our bankroll is where we get addicted gradually. For instance, you have $500 as your daily bankroll and you gamble with more than $500 moving to $1000 in a day, you are exceeding the bankroll. If you keep repeating that act every time you deposited when you exceed you bankroll then there will be a time when you will get addicted to it. That is how addiction starts and before you know one cant continue with his normal bankroll anymore.
