Unfortunately for Leipzig, this new and far different CL version has been more than negative. At least until now. The game against Liverpool though, I doubt that it will be different for them. The Reds this season look very solid and serious with all their opponents and if they get out from serious injuries, can be a favorite to reach at least the quarter-finals.
Not just to the quarter-finals - I expect Liverpool to make it through to the final this season.
I hope Arne Slot can make this wish come true in his first season at Liverpool - but I admit it's a difficult target for him. But first - I want Liverpool to maintain this good performance by continuing to win game after game in this round. Leipzig are not particularly strong - but they can also capitalize on mistakes if Liverpool underestimate this team.
The 6 teams that Liverpool will face in the next 6 matches are: Leipzig, Leverkusen, Real Madrid, Girona, Lille and PSV. So far I only think Real Madrid is stronger than Liverpool - I can still hope Liverpool can beat the others.
