That is why one must consider business people getting into politics to be a signal of a conflict of interest. There have been already several  instances in which they are caught being more loyal or more worried about the growth of their brand or business than the growth of their country and the development of the people intheir nation.
That is one of the reasons people in Nigeria must be careful with casinos and oil companies getting in bed with politicians, because there are very high chances all the promised of a better life end up with an increase of corruption in the country. I name Nigeria because it is an obvious example.

The president of a country must threat the country itself as it was her/his business and not to have their personal one in loved.
