I had an impression that the frequent password input was not necessary, which can cause some security issues
The option to keep you logged in exists for convenience purposes. Many members, me included, don’t like to input their credentials everytime they want to use the forum. However, never enable it if someone else can have access to your device. In such case, always click the "
logout" button before you close the forum tab.
I went ahead and set up two-factor authentication, however, it did not ask me to perform such an action after my logging out and logging back in again.
As Findingnemo has already explained, make sure to enable the 2fa by ticking the "
Enable two-factor authentication?" checkbox.
