What labor shortage? It's not a labor shortage, it's a Wall Street power grab:

-the US workforce participation rate is the lowest it's been since women entered the workforce in the 60s
This isn't true, but yeah Americans that choose not to work contributes to labor shortage.

There is plenty of affordable housing in America.Regarding their alleged "tax contributions", just one kid costs $16k to send to public school for a year. No migrant is paying $16k into the system.
A single immigrant working minimum wage for 18 years while their kid grows up will pay over 50k in taxes on the conservative side, not including 7% ss and medicare tax - which they don't get any back without working for 10 years in the country.
