Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress?
Personally, as a beginner gambler at one point, after realizing I had been spending too much money on gambling, I have made the decision to start tracking my progress and especially my spending. It wasn’t something I had thought of initially, but I knew I had to take control before it became a bigger issue for me, my future and relationships. By keeping track of how much I was betting and winning (or losing most of the time Xd), I could see exactly where my money was going. This helped me recognize patterns and set limits for myself. It also gave me peace of mind knowing I was only gambling with extra money I earned from side jobs, making sure it didn’t affect my main finances.

However, I kept tracking it all made the whole experience feel more manageable and enjoyable, safe and also helping to stay away from addiction and excessive gambling.

It is quite easy to track your spending habits if you will only set your limits on each session. To what extent you can play by allocating how much you can spend for every session. And you need to be strict with the total amount as you can easily exceed from this budget. So much better if you can only deposit the amount that you can very well afford to lose. So even if it is already busted, you know that it won't affect your financial needs.
