It's not anyone's business whether you gamble or not, unless you have a family and you have to feed your kids and care about them in many other ways, like buying books for them, smartphones and stuff. First provide them with everything they need and only then you can gamble because it is likely that you will lose money and losing to gambling is not a good excuse for not buying for your kids what they need.
So you are implying people who is single, does not have kids or anyone underage to take care of should not worry about what other people think?
Because one also needs to remember the context matters a lot.
In the forum we have a particularly high percentage of people who post from muslin majority countries and even though they do not have children to feed or rents to pay, it is likely they could still find opposition or trouble when comes to gambling they money they have worked to get in the first place.
There could even be some people living in more liberal countries in the West of the planet who still find some obstacle which do not allow them to gamble as they want.
Once I knew someone who felt guilty about gambling, even though they did not have anyone to take care of and worked to get his gambling budget. Any comments on those situations?
