Hi to all.
I had an impression that the frequent password input was not necessary, which can cause some security issues. I went ahead and set up two-factor authentication, however, it did not ask me to perform such an action after my logging out and logging back in again. As a newbie, what preventive measures should one have in place to make sure that their accounts are not defrauded or scammed?
Most of these things are not going to matter I guess as long as you have a good password, and turn on most of the possible 2nd layer security like the Two Factory authentication, it's the most secure as it gets already if you still get hacked after that you're probably doing or visiting something that should not be visited, I mean there are for sure a lot of hackers out there and there are a lot of ways where they can penetrate to our computer or our devices, but it's not actually going to be easily as long as you're not going to let them do it.
You just need to have enough knowledge about it and stop clicking links that you don't really know, and it is going to be secure enough, I mean personally all of my emails and accounts on different platforms are all secured, on multiple layers if it is available and I have never been hacked, some of the cases I almost get hacked when I started doing airdrops, when I need to click a lot of links, they get access to my email but luckily I was able to log them out because I have 2FA on.
So just be aware of it, as long as you know, or mostly if you think that something is going to be a red flag just avoid it, since it might be risky.
