I also remember the days when there was a service that allowed people to use Paypal funds to buy Bitcoin, I forgot the name of it but it was a lifesaver long time ago for problems like these.
You probably mean CoinPal. They created
a thread on Bitcontalk back in 2010. Back then, you could only purchase between 10 and 20 BTC per transaction, but the service was available globally. When their YouTube video that explains how to use the service came out, bitcoin was priced at around $0.30 a piece. It's incredible when you think about it.
Not that but that was way earlier than the one that I am thinking and have used before, they are also out of business and I think it was just announced a few years ago before they went out of service or maybe it was pre-pandemic time. It's truly incredible that during the early days, there were services that have been able to max out the service of PayPal into buying Bitcoin. I don't know where I was by that time but those were the days yeah.
