Hi to all.
I had an impression that the frequent password input was not necessary, which can cause some security issues. I went ahead and set up two-factor authentication, however, it did not ask me to perform such an action after my logging out and logging back in again. As a newbie, what preventive measures should one have in place to make sure that their accounts are not defrauded or scammed?
Bitcointalk is a fully decentralized forum which is why no one is verified for anything here. that is why you have to pay your security yourself. use a strong password at your own risk when entering a password. and two factor authentication must be set carefully. and of course use your bitcoin address in one of your account posts and keep that address carefully. If your account is hacked in the future. then you can recover your account by signing the message of that bitcoin address
No one is talking about this type of nonsense replies... It is annoying how low this forum go every year. Going through some posts in this thread is total rubbish. Some didn't even understand the Op and started giving advice, just like the first post in this thread.
