Considering that there are speculations that Vinicius might win the ballon d'or...do you think he is or will leave a better football legacy than Neymar??..
In my own personal opinion though i think Neymar was unlucky to play football in the era he did.prime Neymar was competing with players like ronaldo and messi while vini has to compete with mbappe,bellingham,lookman and the likes.Neymar finished 3rd in two seasons during the messi and ronaldo era and trust me when i say that is a very huge accomplishment considering the caliber of players who were in form at the time like lewy,suarez,ibrahimovic and others.vinicius is a very awesome player but i still think Neymar was a better player and is still a better player until Vinicius consistently proves me wrong.
If vinicius junior finally wins the ballon d'Or, he has automatically gotten an edge in terms of achievement more than Neymar junior, a ballon d'or signifies that you are the best player of the world at given time, Neymar doesn't have such recognition in terms of awards. I feel one of the major issues Neymar had was, during his prime in Barcelona Messi's acceptability and general brilliance overshadowed Neymar's achievement, if not Barcelona would have been the best breeding ground for him to have won the ballon d'Or. Going to PSG only didn't help neymar's career as PSG did not have the rudiments to give a player such award at that time, although the money was also an inducing factor for that PSG move.
