I had an impression that the frequent password input was not necessary, which can cause some security issues. I went ahead and set up two-factor authentication, however, it did not ask me to perform such an action after my logging out and logging back in again. As a newbie,what preventive measures should one have in place to make sure that their accounts are not defrauded or scammed?
I believe you did not correctly set up the two factor authentication because if you did, you will be asked for a code for you to login. Once you set it up, you also need to secure your email, and to do that,, you also need to set up a two factor authentication for your email.
Nothing secure your account like having it secured by 2FA, so just do it correctly so even if someone has your password, he will not have access because of the 2FA.
