Good day my country people, I observed something today which I felt I should share in the forum.
Well it's about a pastor who comes to me and some friends of mine to know little about trading, which my friends and I tried our best to give him the knowledge he can to start trading. But funny enough he's also interested in sports betting too , he's congregation has quite the number but he stills struggle financially, so he's ready to start doing anything legitimate for money.
But the thing is, is it really acceptable for a man of God as they do call themselves to indulge in things like this?
Pastors and spiritual leaders of a congregation are entrusted with a sacred calling. Their primary responsibility is to guide teach and nurture Thier flock and not to engage in secular pursuit like trading and gambling.
Please what's your take on this?
Well I think I will say that the pastor is not a genuine pastor. because I don't see the reason why a called man of God we think of going into trading and gambling at the same time. Noing fully well that trading and gambling aren't meant for pastor's due to the risk and also the losses that are involved in it, because normally a genuine man of God used to see people's that are into gambling as people that are not responsible. However I think I would not be surprise because some pastors that we are seeing today aren't real man of God.
