No limits? Are you sure? Aren't you scared of match fixers then? They can just place a bet of a million USD on a lower league soccer game, or on a low level tennis tournament?
Or did you mean to say "no INDIVIDUAL limits" as in: every game has a fixed max stake which counts for everyone the same.
If so: where can we spot this max bet limit?
I think he was talking about individual limits and not something else since that was what I was referring to. Decentralised betting sites like this one don't really enforce limits since they are fine with gamblers winning consistently.

Some sites display these limits properly(Usually while placing the bets) while some others don't display anything and an error pops up if limit gets exceeded.

And this particular site, does it display the limit?
For example I like to bet amounts around 3000-5000 USD on NFL and NBA, will this be possible or do their limits stop already at about 100USD?

Edit: hmmm actually found out what they do: no individual limit but the higher the stake, the lower the odds get.
For example for Dallas in the NBA if you enter 600 USD in the stake field, the odds are 0.01 lower than when you enter 500. That is for a big market like NBA, but for smaller events the odds will lower quicker already, for example already if you change the stake from 40 to 50 usd.
So, if you want to bet 1 million on a very small market, the odds will become 1,00 so there is no point. Actually this is an inventive way to not limit users but still protect the sportsbook from losing.

Good Observation ser.
We basically call it market making. Allow everyone to place bets and at the back-end run an orderbook mechanism that manages the odds slippage.

Btw, we have bettors who place $3000 to $5000 in bets on NBA, NFL and Football. You can check our stats on dune here: https://dune.com/dgbet_team/user-stats

The idea is to however, build better liquidity so that the slippage drastically reduces.
