sorry @JJG if I may have brought this matter again but I was triggered to dip dive into laszlo story. well Laszlo may not come out openly to express how difficult it is for him to emagine how he lost such amount of bitcoin for a $40 papa johns pizza 🍕. but deep in him he will will surely feel it because from an interview he was asked that how does he feel every other nighs when he imagined how rich he would have become? as that time the total worth of 10000 btc was calculated to be $800m if he would have held his bitcoin? he replied I think thinking like that is not really good for me because certainly it will affect him emotionally.

apart from that, there was nothing like HODl as at that time so he wouldn't have known what is holding. and bitcoin wouldn't have make wave so fast if it where not for him. with that been said I think laszlo pizza for bitcoin was the reason bitcoin was recognised after his proposal to used bitcoin to purchase pizza with his credit card. it was recorded as the first man to do Such a thing, making him outstandingly remarkable. I remember a user  by the name @ribuck once asked that Will this eventually become the world's first million-dollar pizza?  
I guess he was right then. though Laszlo may lose such amount of bitcoin but I think the fact remains that someone must take a lead for others to follow,  that made him famous and recognised by all, and his face has appeared almost evehere bitcoin activities is done and usually be remembered every year. I also believe that apart from the 10k bitcoin used to purchase the pizza he has more bitcoin in his wallet which I don't know the exact figure.

Moral of the lesson is that we must not be afraid to give something a trial. One person attempt can trigger many to follow the Leed, here are we today because of the sacrifice some people made for something to become reality. Satoshi Nakamoto also did the most remarkable by trying out bitcoin creation which is beneficial to many these are all sacrifice.
