Investment is not always the way we think it is. Yeah investment differs, it could be that a person just started investing aggressively consistently today or 2 years ago or like 2 years now and have a lesser amount of btc while in other words another person who invested in bitcoin 9 - 10 years ago may have accumulated $100 DCA each week in a year or $2k lump sum at ago and stop. Certainly the person who accumulated for that one years period will be advantaged than the person who tend to be aggressively buying bitcoin today or 2 years from now. Because that person that bought bitcoin during 2014/2013 would have gotten upto 10 to 12 btc with just a consistent investment of 1 year. Likewise a person who investes agresively in a period of 2 years from now will be advantaged in the next 10years to come. The slogan is the earlier the better
On a normal, those who started their investment 10 years ago would be at more advantage than people who's been investing two years from now, the price of Bitcoin was way cheaper back then and the current price has gone far beyond double the price when they invested and even though they just invested continuesly for just 1 to 2 years and stopped, so far they held till this period it's certain for them to make figures of 10 to 12 btc or even more than you mentioned, the only difference is if the other person who's been investing 2 years from now is very wealthy to buy the lumpsum of more than 10 to 12 btc but not much Bitcoin investors do that lately. Well, the slogan
the earlier the better is a very good one based on the advantage the investors stand gain in future when the price goes higher, just like those who invested 10 years back and hold are benefiting currently but then it's not just about investing earlier but holding for a very long-term cause if those people who bought and hold 10 years back had taken their profits in recent times, then I don't think they'll be having up to 10 to 12 btc expect maybe they continue accumulating after a while within that 10 years interval. In conclusion, the main point is buying and holding for long-term and not who has more advantages or more btc than who.
You are very correct, when it comes to bitcoin investment having a huge profit depends on how long you have been holding, you can be using $1k to accumulate Bitcoin weekly if you don't hold for long you may not make any good profit but if you hold for 10 years and above surely you will make a huge profit.
So in other to be successful in Bitcoin investment you must hold for a long term while accumulating consistently, without holding for long term you can't succeed and make huge profit is as simple as that.
When Bitcoin was very cheap there were investors who invented in Bitcoin and when Bitcoin got it's first big growth they sold off there Bitcoin however some set of people are still holding till date, now imagine among those people that sold there Bitcoin so quick their was someone who was using huge amount to accumulate but sold his Bitcoin in 2012 can you compare him with someone who was accumulating little by little since 2010 consistently till date, no you won't that person that has been holding till date is more successful and has made more profit.
If I'm using $1k to accumulate weekly when Bitcoin is $60k and sold when is $80k and when I'm using $300 to accumulate weekly when it is $60k and sold when Bitcoin was $500k you can see the one who hold till it was $500k will make more profit.
So succeeding very well in Bitcoin investment one needs to hold for a very long term.
