Whether it was real or recorded, what matters most is that the players hear something to push them to play well. This tactic isn’t new to us, which is why we see teams hiring cheerleaders at games as they play an important role.
We can’t fully appreciate how much this boosts players’ spirits until we experience it ourselves. But I know it has a huge impact, giving them that extra energy to show their supporters that they’re the best.
Of course, that alone won’t make a team win; it still depends on team participation and strategy. Even if the crowd’s cheers are too loud, if the team isn’t playing well, a win is unlikely.
