Re: Why Are New Web3 Projects Launching at Lower Prices Despite Strong Features?

Is it just me, or have these new projects been launching at low prices, even though they feature all the aspects of Web3? Despite incorporating trending topics like Web3, NFTs, staking, and AI, unlike the last bull run, new projects with good use cases often got listed at much better prices. To be honest, ALIENX’s listing and current price aren’t as appealing as I expected. But maybe it will pump hard in the future. What do you think? Should I look for ways to acquire it because I like the project, or is it a waste of time?

strong feature doesn't mean it's a good feature, maybe it's just a solution seeking for a problem and on the other hand incorporating trending topics doesn't automatically make a project success.

you can say that, with the presence of so many projects trying to reinvent the wheel and keep getting funding from VC, rinse and repeat, eventually the money will spread thin. no retailer want to buy the same thing over and over again. this new project thing is getting old.

retailers right now are only seeking an OG project that actually deliver a good, unique, strong product with a good use case, basically the one that is a solution to the problem not the other way around, so it's to be expected that some obscure project that brings not much value to the space will be considered as just unnecessary and thus get valued really low.
