it was a flop as expected, the L2 trend faded, the L2 devs are as usual, milking their community until the last drop. it's no wonder that so many people get disappointed

I personally think thats it with staking meta. the reward never lives up to the expectation and finally we're coming to the final phase of staking meta where eventually everything become diluted and nobody getting interested anymore.

If you are not new in here and have an experience about these crypto projects or airdrops, then you could have known if what will be their faith but others who are not like that can still expect something positive. That is only the thing that they got for them to keep on going, since they already started it. Each trend has an end and so as this layer two projects.. .I think that is also because there are lots of them now, so newer ones are not relevant anymore and like you said, are only created to milk the community. In fact even older projects do also has an intention to earn but it's okay since they still have a great contribution to the community.
