What exactly is the difference between:
I already have a Seed & Use a Hardware Device?

Isn't it the same if, for example, I simply enter the seed from the device manually under:
I already have a seed

Or does signing via the hardware device no longer work because I haven't entered it under:
Use a Hardware Device?
