Indian women batting order has been a mess for quite sometime now. The target that was given by the NZ women team was not that easy to chase. But I didn't see any efforts put one by the top order batters. For now the series is evenly poised with both teams wining one match each. The next one will be the decider that will confirm which team wins the series.
The third match was a do-or-die match for both the teams, especially the batting style of India in the second ODI match, it seemed that India might be practicing playing against New Zealand. Not only did the top-order batsmen struggle to win but the middle-order batsmen managed to get India up to 183 runs. Five top-order batsmen were out for 77 runs as the rest collected the next five batters together. If India continues to perform like this in the third match, New Zealand women's team will easily win the series. But it can be said without a doubt that India will not lose the third match because if India fails in this match then the series will become New Zealand and if India is successful then the match will become India ie they will win the series.
