Can self-custody be too difficult to practice by a crypto investor? Because I spoke to somebody about bitcoin and the person responded by saying that they are not too sure that they can trust their self to keep their investment safe because of their careless nature, and this got me thinking because can I call this person being very sincere or the person is just afraid to try.
Everyone should be in-charge and control of their bitcoin investment, and if somebody knows that they cannot practice self custody then I don't believe that bitcoin should be what they are investing in because it is simply not safe for someone else to be helping you manage your investments in bitcoin.
Not just the new peoples I have also some fear in about to order a cold wallet also because If they cold wallet provider or the delivery men keep the private key and sweep the bitcoin later ? I saw the incident the member of this forum yogg did in the past time.

And I have also fear and the reason is the same am I have the ability to keep safe the non-wallet private key? Because I have lost some of my crypto assets because of hacking I was phished  by the hacker and I have still the afraid in my mind do I have any malware of those hackers in my device still now. Yes I did reset my OS but there was a risk also I seen becuase their malware can in in the storage device even then reinstall of os. And so I think there is also many others reason in the peoples mind about he storing  bitcoin in self-custody. But there is no other best way to hold bitcoin rather than holding in self custody wallet.
