Leverkusen had one good year last season, and that's it, nothing more, which is why I am not expecting the whole world from them, doesn't make sense. I believe the best thing right now for them would be figuring out what they could do for the long term because Xabi will leave, Wirtz will eventually leave too, so they need to figure out what they can do after they are gone, not just focus on this season.
Bayern Leverkusen don’t look like they’re weak this season or can’t perform well this season. They’re already playing a great football this seaosn and that should be a sign that they’ll also outshine their other opponents and fight for the league title also. Xabi is doing great and even though he won’t be their forever with them, he’ll definitely leave a legacy the next manager will work on, and won’t want to perform lesser than he has done already. Bayern Leverkusen are one of my top favourite for the league title and I also see them going to do well in the champions league too.
Obviously Leverkusen isn't as good as people think they are, and that will be soon apparent to everyone but until then people will have vote of confidence on what they can do. If you ask me, this should be an easy game for Liverpool, they are looking like they are having a whole new level of success these days and I can see them win this one too.
Liverpool is doing well so far this season but haven’t seen such performance from them to make me think that they can win this game easily. Bayern Leverkusen is not a mediocre team when compared to teams like Liverpool. I see a very tough challenge in this match and any team that gets to win this match, they will definitely have to feel it not easy for them to achieve that victory. Bayern Leverkusen are doing very well this season likewise Liverpool are also doing great too, so they definitely not going to have them both easy in this encounter.
