Re: Communism vs Free World= Kamala vs Trump.

But are we on the same page that if the letter is accurate, and this is truly the opinion of these life long republicans that worked in Trumps first administration, then Trump != Free World.

Didn't you post the link because you got it from Fox? Lol

I think I got it from Politico.  Every major media outlet has reported on it.

We are on the same page that if what the letter says is true, then Trump is not fit to be president for a second term. But that's a big if. However, I don't agree that if the letter is true the USA is going to be more or less free because he is not going to have absolute power

When you call Kamala a communist, you're trying to argue that she will lead the country down the path to Authoritarianism.  But the only thing you've pointed to is her economic policy and there are plenty of countries
But you know what I'm basing it on to say that it's legitimate for him to run?
Never claimed he isn't running legitimately.  I'm trying to convince you that Trump is a existential threat to the country and none of Harris' policies come close to posing the same threat to democracy.

I already told you that Trump is not my cup of tea but I would also like to know the degree of veracity that we can give to this from an objective point of view, which is going to be impossible, because for example other Republicans who are against Trump are the Cheney, and being that Dick Cheney is a fucking liar swindler and genocidal liar who has no qualms in inventing lies to kill millions of people as long as it brings him profits, well what they can say about Trump I do not see it very credible.

Ok, you don't like Dick Cheney.  Is that really reason to assume that the 4 star generals who served as Trumps Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Sec of Defense, Sec of Homeland Security and Chief of Staff are lying or confused when they say Trump is a literal fascist?

Fascism, Communism, just different paths to the same outcome, agree?

I bet all the conservatives from every previous Republican administration and Republican Campaign Nominee since Nixon that signed this letter also don't like Kamala's economic policies.  This is not normal.

Quote
Four years ago, President George W. Bush, the late Sen. John McCain, and then-Gov. Mitt Romney alumni came together to warn fellow Republicans that re-electing President Trump would be a disaster for our nation. In those declarations we stated the plain truth, each predicting that another four years of a Trump presidency would irreparably damage our beloved democracy.

We reunite today, joined by new Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush alumni, to reinforce our 2020 statements and, for the first time, jointly declare that we’re voting for Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz this November.

Of course, we have plenty of honest, ideological disagreements with Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz. That’s to be expected. The alternative, however, is simply untenable.

At home, another four years of Donald Trump’s chaotic leadership, this time focused on advancing the dangerous goals of Project 2025, will hurt real, everyday people and weaken our sacred institutions.

Abroad, democratic movements will be irreparably jeopardized as Trump and his acolyte JD Vance kowtow to dictators like Vladimir Putin while turning their backs on our allies.

We can’t let that happen.

We know now, thanks to exit polling and voter data, that it was moderate Republicans and conservative independents in key swing states that ultimately delivered the presidency to Joe Biden—honest, hardworking Americans in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, and beyond that put country far before party.

We’re heartfully calling on these friends, colleagues, neighbors, and family members to take a brave stand once more, to vote for leaders that will strive for consensus, not chaos; that will work to unite, not divide; that will make our country and our children proud.

Those leaders are Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz.
