My avalon ran for 3 months on HIGH. Today it does not want to start - apparently there is a problem with the power USB port. I am using the original power supply. Apparently there is a problem with the design of the power port. 
you should never run it on high mode.
my miner restarts every 5 mins in med power.

it could be overheating of the adapter or cable is not 3.1 PD which i doubt.
waiting for a mini fan to install on the adapter and then check.
