Personally, I gamble as a way to entertain myself and if I have other things to remain content and when I lack spare time, I don't gamble. My personal gambling time and amount has decreased significantly from a year ago as now I'm placed in an office with heavier work load than it was in my last office. Similarly I've seen many of my friends nearly stopped gambling after they got married.

If office job interferes your gambling life - quit that office job Cheesy Do you really believe that your friends stopped gambling totally? It is impossible to do. You just dont see them gamble or they dont tell you much about it. Those who has tried gambling, will never quit it. They might pause it, gamble rarely or spend less on gambling activity, but people never quit. Unintentionally people get involved into gambling activities. Only rare individuals can truly quick gambling forever. But why do that? Have problems with gambling? Gamble with fake money.
There are factors to consider as there are different takes and views from each individuals who involved themselves into gambling, I agree that only few who can completely quit away and never to return most of those who experience gambling will somehow find ways to play back, though by experience they'll be able to manage and control both emotions and finances to lessen the chance of getting hooked deeply or become addicted.
