There are United faithfuls who still believe Erik ten Hag is a good coach, and that the rumors of him having internal issues with his players were fabricated by the English media. Even though Ten Hag’s tenure as Manchester United's head coach is now over, I am puzzled by how many United fans think that Ten Hag did not receive the recognition he deserved, according to them Ten Hag was one of the club’s most successful managers in the post-Ferguson era.
You try to satisfy human beings and make them happy at all time, you end up doing so at your own peril and possibly bring doom on yourself.
I won't be surprised to see the same set of people who shouted and called for his sack to right now begin to show sympathy and empathy for or to the man after he's been sacked.
For me though, it doesn't matter whether Erik was or had internal issues with his players or not (which I don't believe there way any of such issues anyway), the fact we all can see was that Manchester united wasn't showing or making use of their full potentials under Erik's watch, the team has continued to deteriorate season after season, and I think Erik being given a chance to get some rest was long overdue before now.
