I'm happy I purchased my first Bitcoin, and I'm proud to call myself a bitcoiner
Congrats on buying your first Bitcoin, I hope you have the guts and can hold on to your Bitcoin during a bear run or dips. Bitcoin is very volatile and it can be scary for a lot of people when the price dips, a lot of people have tried to get into Bitcoin but a lot of them lost a lot of money because they couldn't hold on to their Bitcoin and decided to sell at a loss.

You're making a point here, the OP made the right choice to start his/her Bitcoin journey and since Bitcoin is a digital asset that comes with lots of benefits joining the moving train is the best decision anyone could make therefore I applaud the OP's decision. However, it doesn't just end in buying Bitcoin and Holding but protecting his/her portfolio matters as well and I hope the OP's holding in a secured wallet ( Non-custodial wallet) like Electrum and it's kind, then secure the passphrase of the wallet.

It's one thing to own a digital asset and protecting it from intruders and scammers matters alot else starting a Bitcoin journey would be in vain, not being able to hold is not the only way people lose money through Bitcoin, a lot has lost cause they weren't able to secure their portfolio.
