You are not thinking strategically. Abortion gets rid of liberals, and liberals are the only people making sure women have the right to an abortion. We should therefore vote for conservative candidates who want to ban abortion so that we have enough liberals in the future to make sure that women are guaranteed a right to an abortion. To protect a woman's right to choose, we need to vote against abortion.
