Barcelona was very dominant. Espanyol in the first half had a hard time developing their game because of the fast game and pressing from Barcelona players. Espanyol made several attempts to attack but some of the shots they made were not on target. Although they managed to score a goal, Espanyol's goal had to be disallowed. Unlike Barcelona players who I think were comfortable enough to develop their game and the attacks they made were very effective. 7 shots, 6 on target, and 3 became goals. Barcelona's advantage in the first half was very dominant. If Espanyol did not improve their game in the second half, maybe there would be 2 more goals from Barcelona.
